Introduction
Infrared microscopy provides a rapid and non-destructive means for investigating the composition of trace evidence, including paint chips. Spectral data can be used to evaluate possible links between suspects and victims. This presentation will provide an introduction to forensic trace evidence analysis by IR Microscopy.
