Introduction
This workshop discusses how the features and benefits of ICP-OES overcome common challenges in mining, specifically utilizing the PerkinElmer Avio 500 ICP-OES. We will review spectral interference management and several applications including impurity analysis in steel, and impurity analysis in nickel and lead alloys following London Metal Exchange guidelines.
