Introduction
This application note describes a detailed LC-UV workflow for analyzing ferulic acid, an important phenolic acid used for quality assessment, in Angelica sinensis (A. sinensis). The analysis was performed using a PerkinElmer LC 300 system equipped with a C18 column, following the Chinese Pharmacopoeia specifications. The method demonstrated excellent separation efficiency and repeatability, making it suitable for regulatory quality control in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries.
