Introduction

As discussed in Theory and Function: Mass Spectrometry, the mass spectrometer is one option for a detector in gas chromatography. The mass spectrometer measures mass to charge ratio of the ions that come from the source into the detector. By using the m/z, compounds are able to be identified.

In this webinar we will discuss the many parameters that can be optimized to attain the optimum power from the mass spectrometer, such as sampling rates, simultaneous Full Scan / SIM conditions, and more.
